Antoine Wagner

Antoine Wagner is an American-French contemporary artist and film director who works in the fields of  video, sound, sculpture, performance and photography, which he exhibits through installations, site-specific interventions, film and opera.

Through the visual language of nature his work references music, mythology and the romantic.as well as the themes of identity, geography and spirituality.

Wagner's multifaceted practice has created an entire visual language to engage the audience in communicating with nature. His most recent works include ATEM - a video installation accompanied by a live orchestra at the Opera in Erl, Austria 2022 -  WATERMUSIC 2.2 - a video installation with a live orchestra at the Festival de l'Offrande Musicale in Tarbes, France 2022 -  and the Impossible Forest - a "Projection Drama" with a live stream piano improvisation during the 20th edition of Nuit Blanche in Paris, France 2021.

The artist works between Wattens (Austria), Woodstock (New York) and Paris (France).
