Oscar Zabala

Oscar Zabala is a New York-based artist working at the fringes of both analog and digital mediums to depict visions. Marrying visuals to sound, tailored for immersive environments, has been at the heart of his creations. Zabala’s work is a synthesis of a wide range of influences including rave culture, eastern philosophies, Gnosticism, and non-ordinary states of consciousness. He has collaborated with several artists over the years creating stage visuals and films for international tours and live stadium experiences. His most recent commissions include the creation of stadium visuals for Kanye West’s ‘Donda’ listening parties. Zabala’s latest series ‘Above/Below’ invites audiences to encounter symbolism, consciousness, and ritual through an immersive audio-visual installation. As well as the accompanying series of mixed-medium prints and an ongoing release of immersive NFTs. This latest body of work is a culmination of over a decade of his artistic explorations.
